不知道大家有沒有遇過韋如意用於洗腎病人，我找了一下資料，仿單，MICROMEDEX, UPTODATE，對於eGFR<30，或是洗腎的病人，缺乏藥物動力學的資料，所以不建議使用。
但過往有些研究指出，在腎功能不全或洗腎病人短時間5-10天使用，顯著的毒性機率很低，使用上利益或許會大於風險。

在4個回溯性的研究中，收入急或慢性腎衰竭病人，其中有三個研究收入需要洗腎的病人，這些研究發現給予韋如意標準劑量，並不會增加肌肝酸或肝功能。

此外，在一個單一病人接受IHD並使用韋如意5天的藥物動力學研究中，偉如意的代謝物GS-441524在血中的濃度高且穩定，但經過洗腎後，會被排出約50%，作者認為這樣避免了濃度蓄積的情況。此外在另一個3個ESRD病人的研究中，也看到洗腎可以排出45-49%的韋如意代謝物。
